Welcome to Juniper Ridge
We are so glad you are here. Choosing to take this step takes courage, and we want you to know that you are not alone. Juniper Ridge Recovery House is a safe, structured, and supportive home designed to help women in early recovery build the foundation for a new life.
This handbook is your guide. It covers what to expect, how this home operates, and how to get the most out of your time here. Please read it carefully and reach out to the house manager if you have any questions.

Expectations
To maintain a safe and structured environment for all residents, everyone is expected to follow the house guidelines consistently.
Maintain sobriety at all times
Zero tolerance for alcohol or drugs on the premises
Participate in weekly house meetings
Attendance is mandatory for all residents
Complete assigned chores
Shared spaces are a shared responsibility
Submit to random drug and alcohol testing
Testing may occur at any time
Actively pursue recovery goals
Treatment plan, NA/AA meetings, or outpatient program
Respect curfew hours
Sunday–Thursday 10pm, Friday–Saturday 11pm
Pay rent on time
Due on the 1st of each month, no exceptions

Safety
The safety of every resident is our top priority. All safety policies are non-negotiable and apply to everyone at all times.
No weapons
Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited on the premises
No violence
Physical or verbal violence results in immediate discharge
Emergency protocol
Call 911 first, then notify house manager immediately
Visitor policy
Approved visitors only. No overnight guests permitted

Conflict Resolution
Conflict is a part of life. At Juniper Ridge, we handle it with respect, honesty, and clear process — not drama or retaliation.

Speak directly to the person
Calmly and privately address the issue with the other resident first

Involve the house manager
If the issue is not resolved, bring it to the house manager for mediation

Formal grievance process
If unresolved, submit a written grievance to management for a formal review
Retaliation of any kind is not permitted and may result in discharge.

Discharge Policy
Discharge can be voluntary or administrative. We always aim to handle this process with dignity and clear communication.
Voluntary
Resident provides 30 days written notice. Responsible for rent through the notice period. May be eligible to return in the future.
Administrative
Management may discharge a resident for rule violations, relapse, non-payment, or behavior that disrupts the community.
